Joseph H. Hackl, 91, of San Tan Valley, AZ, went into the loving arms of Jesus, March 22, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10:00am on Monday, March 30, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS. Visitation will be at 9:30am at the church. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Joe was born December 31, 1923 in New Kensington, PA. He married the love of his life, Frances "Dolly" Klemens on June 23, 1954. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a civilian from Fort Leavenworth. He...

Joe was born December 31, 1923 in New Kensington, PA. He married the love of his life, Frances "Dolly" Klemens on June 23, 1954. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as a civilian from Fort Leavenworth. He was a collector from model railroads to model airplanes. He had a huge love of books and reading and was always proud and willing to show off his book "collection". He was a member of St. Ann's parish for over forty years prior to moving to Arizona to live with his daughter. Joe was everyone's friend and he will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dolly Hackl, his sisters Marjorie and Donna Hackl, and grandson Ryan Prohaska. He is survived by his son Kevin Hackl and daughter-in-law Julia, daughter Karen Prohaska and son-in-law Jim, grandchildren Kyle and Marina Hackl, Evan and Morgan Prohaska and great-grandson Isaac Prohaska.
